These Whole30 Burger Bowls are everything you love about a burger in one easy bowl! They are packed full with so many flavors and textures. This Whole30 ground beef recipe is super easy and totally customizable. They are great for a healthy lunch, dinner, or for entertaining.
Why Make Burger Bowls?
Burger bowls are far superior than a traditional burger. Here is why:
- Burger bowls are easier to eat!
- With everything in one bowl, there’s a little bit of each flavor in every bite.
- The options for “toppings” are limitless.
- Burger bowls are significantly healthier than eating a burger on white bread.
- Just like eating a grilled burger, but in a bowl!
How to Make
Step 1
First, cook bacon on stovetop until crispy. Remove to a paper towel. Leave 1 tablespoon bacon fat in pan.
Step 2
Next, add white onion, ground beef, salt, pepper and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until browned through completely.
Step 3
Then, assemble bowls. Add lettuce to 4 bowls and then add ground beef, bacon and desired toppings.
Step 4
Finally, top Whole30 Burger bowls with Whole30 Spicy Mayo and serve!
How to Make Whole30 Spicy Mayo
To make Whole30 Spicy Mayo, combine Whole30 mayonnaise and Whole30 buffalo sauce. Alternatively, use hot sauce in place of buffalo sauce. For a more spicy flavor, add more buffalo sauce. For a more mild flavor, use more mayonnaise.
How to Store Leftovers
For leftover burger bowls, store all the toppings separately to prevent sogginess. Store ground beef in an airtight container, store bacon in a separate container, and so on.
