First, add frozen banana, maple syrup, nut butter, dairy free milk and cocoa powder to a blender.

Ingredients
Smoothie
- 1 frozen banana
- 2 tbsp pure maple syrup
- 2 tbsp nut butter, peanut, almond or cashew
- 1 cup milk of choice
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1 tbsp caramel, see note
- 1 tbsp peanuts
- 1 tsp mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- First, add frozen banana, maple syrup, nut butter, milk and cocoa powder to a blender.
- Blend on high for 15 to 20 seconds or until blended.
- Finally, pour into a glass. Garnish with caramel, peanuts, and mini chocolate chips.
Notes
- I recommend slicing banana into small slices before freezing. This will help the blending process significantly.
- Honey or 2 pitted dates can be used in place of the maple syrup.
- Any creamy nut butter works. I love peanut butter, almond butter, and cashew butter.
- Any milk works. I suggest using almond milk.

I was going to make it as a dessert but decided to make this my breakfast shake! Only thing different I did was add ground up whole grain oats. Couldn’t tell they were there! Definitely was indulging, sweet and satisfying! Great recipe
