My eggs did not cook hardly at all. Didn’t figure it out until I went to shake them and ruined 3 eggs 🙁 maybe need to leave out the middle minute break and just cook for 10 minutes?
Thank you.
Hard to peel, but very good otherwise.
Jesus Christ, now I realize I dodged one with just having raw eggs. Could have been sent to the ER with first degree burns. DO NOT MICROWAVE EGGS!
Came out super runny. Not hard boiled
One Egg exploded and I got boiling water and egg from thigh to head upon opening the microwave. Do not cook eggs this way!
Worked for me! I used a 2-cup Pyrex glass measuring cup for 3 eggs, and I was afraid they would explode cuz one kept floating to the top, but it never did thank God! Also, on the second 4-minute nuke, the water started boiling vigorously so I stopped the microwave at a minute and 32 seconds left, let the eggs sit in that hot water for maybe 3 minutes and they turned out great! Thanks very much! 🙂
I did this and my microwave exploded. Not the egg. The microwave. The revolving tray shattered and the door exploded open. Don’t do this.
Something happened within the microwave itself.
So im in a hotel and it seems pertinent to mention that some hotels have very small microwaves that ate only 1050 watts and definately the eggs need a touch more time in that case. Also some hotels have microwaves that dont have a turning plate. Dont know if this recipe would work in those ones. Probly much better chances of exploding eggs i would imagine…
I would guess that the recipe is good if, IF, you microwave only 3 eggs.
I doubled the recipe and added the additional salt the recipe instructed.
While it noted that “all microwaves are different, cook times may alter slightly,” the eggs were essentially raw after the 12 minutes.
The obvious solution is to increase the total time cooking when adding additional eggs. But the recipe fails to say that.
Please make the correction and save others from wasting time & money.
Thanks.
The trick is you need to cook 4 minutes wait 1 minute cook 4 more minutes and then let the eggs sit in the hot water for 8 minutes to be honest I just left the eggs in the water until the water was cool the eggs were perfect and I cooked four
