This worked perfectly for me!
I am so glad to hear that, Anne! Thank you for taking the time to leave a comment and review!
Tried with 4 eggs and following the instructions to the letter left me with nearly raw eggs!
I followed the recipe EXACTLY and they were PERFECT!!!! As an added bonus to my perfect experience–the shell slipped right off. I have never had hard boiled eggs peel so easily before.
I just wonder if I wanted to make a dozen at a time, how would I adjust the timing??
Thank you.
Hi Doreen! I am so happy to hear that! A dozen eggs may overwhelm your microwave. I would not recommend that many at once. Thank you for taking the time to write a comment and review!
It exploded.
My egg exploded all over my clothes, face, and kitchen walls when i put it in the ice bath! Be super careful!
Yolks were not hard cooked and the whites were bumpy instead of smooth. Peeling was difficult. When removing the shell large chunks of the bumpy white flesh was attached to the shell. Had to throw them out. Luckily I only started with 2 eggs to see how this recipe would turn. This recipe isn’t really a time saver so guess I’ll stick to my original method of boiling.
I put salt in the water and it still exploded
DO NOT DO THIS!! There was an explosion in my microwave! Not wise
They didn’t boil through tried again and got impatient now I have no eggs and I burned my hand
This does not hard boil the eggs
