AIP Spices
There are many spices that are allowed on the AIP diet. Unfortunately, there are numerous spices which are not allowed. This makes AIP cooking challenging at times.
Both thyme and rosemary are AIP compliant. These two spices pack a ton of flavor. The sea salt adds a touch of saltiness, but otherwise the pork chop flavor really shines.
How To Make
Step 1
First, add olive oil to a large skillet over medium heat.
Step 2
Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides of meat with thyme, rosemary and sea salt.
Step 3
Once oil is hot, place pork in skillet. Cook for 4 minutes.
Step 4
Then, flip and cook an additional 4 minutes.
Step 5
Use a meat thermometer to check internal temperature of meat. If pork has reached 145 degrees Fahrenheit, remove from heat. If not, reduce heat to low and cook until 145 degrees is reached.
Step 6
Finally, allow pork to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
