For best results, use fresh chicken. If using frozen, thaw before use. Both chicken breasts and chicken tenderloins work well. Pound chicken into ½ inch thickness. Slice chicken into evenly sized tenders.

Air Fryer Method

Step 1

First, slice chicken breasts into tenders. Pound chicken down to ½ inch thickness.

In a shallow bowl, add egg and whisk. Set aside. In another shallow bowl, combine almond flour, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, salt and pepper. Set aside.

Slice chicken tenders into equal sized pieces.

Use shallow bowls for the egg wash and the dry mixture. It makes coating the chicken so much easier.

Make sure chicken is fully coated in egg. Moreover, fully coat in the dry mixture too.

Use meat thermometer to measure chicken. Chicken is considered cooked at 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
