I LOVED these! Reminded me more of a lava cake, but still super delicious! I did add a small amount of coconut sugar (like half a serving so roughly added 20 cals) and a small bit of honey (less than half a 21g serving) and I feel like it sweetened it up enough ! Definitely will be making these again! I also used only egg whites since I didn’t have any eggs and made 6 muffin sized as I used a muffin pan to make !
It did not turn out well.
Followed the recipe perfect and it was bitter.
Sorry but I really did not like these. I am a baker and these looked so good but following the directions exactly, they looked okay but the taste, well, I ate the part with chocolate chips but tossed the rest. Too much banana flavor and preferred more of a chocolate one, even thought it looked very chocolate.
Love these I add sugar free syrup and no cal sweetener to increase the sweetness we make these brownies weekly!
I am so glad to hear that, Mary!
No one in my household liked these. I followed the recipe exactly and they were a real let-down.
I just tried it and I gotta say that without the chocolate chips it tastes kind of bad. It really lacks sweetness so if you make it I would recomend to add to the batter some chocolate or sugar.
Can I use oil as a substitute for canned pumpkin?
There is no pumpkin in this recipe. For other recipes, I typically don’t substitute oil for pumpkin. Hope this helps!
I have a question. Is the calorie amount for one serving and with chocolate chips?
Yes and yes!
Idk what I did wrong but they weren’t for me. I used super ripe bananas. It tasted a bit bitter without any sugar in them.
These brownies are so easy and yummy!
