Ingredients & Substitutions

Use high quality white chocolate that melts easily.
Use unsalted butter. Stir together with the white chocolate until smooth and creamy.
Use two full eggs and one egg yolk. Do not make this recipe without eggs. If you are vegan, make these Vegan Brownies!
Granulated sugar adds sweetness.
Vanilla extract adds a warm and homemade flavor.
Use either all purpose flour or gluten free flour. For these photos, I used gluten free flour.
Add in a pinch of sea salt to balance out the sweetness.
Add the freeze dried strawberries to a food processor. Blend until finely ground. This adds a delicious strawberry flavor!
For the glaze, use powdered sugar, any type of milk, and ground freeze dried strawberries.

How to Make
Step 1
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a 9-inch square pan with parchment paper.
Step 2
In a large mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter and melted white chocolate.
Step 3
Add in the eggs, egg yolk, sugar, and vanilla. Stir vigorously until light and frothy.
Step 4
Add the freeze dried strawberries to a food processor. Process until finely ground. Fold in the flour, salt, and ground freeze dried strawberries. Stir together.
Step 5
Transfer this batter to the lined pan. Bake for 25 to 27 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with only moist crumbs.
Step 6
Once the brownies have fully cooled, make the glaze. Process the freeze dried strawberries until finely ground. Combine the powdered sugar, milk, and ground freeze dried strawberries in a small bowl. If needed, add another drop of milk to achieve a creamy consistency.
Step 7
Lastly, spread the glaze on top of the brownies. Slice and serve!
