If Nutella and a chocolate chip cookie had a baby, it would be these chocolate hazelnut cookies with dark chocolate chips.  I went through a major Nutella stage growing up and I still love the taste of chocolate hazelnut to this day! These cookies took me 10 minutes to whip up and use only one bowl so they were so quick and easy.  If you’re craving a soft, chewy, dense cookie filled with plenty of flavor then look no further than these cookies. They’re also made with wholesome ingredients to prevent that sugar crash after! You’re only minutes away from a delicious cookie so grab that apron and get baking!

Cook Time: 11-13 minutes
Total Time: 21-23 minutes
Course: Dessert
Servings: 12

Ingredients:

2/3 cup chocolate hazelnut spread (I used Justin’s)
¼ cup coconut sugar (I used this)
1 egg, room temperature
½ cup almond flour (I used this)
½ cup dark chocolate chips (I used these)
Sea salt to sprinkle (my favorite)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper.

Add chocolate hazelnut spread, coconut sugar and almond flour to a mixing bowl and mix together.

Add in egg and combine.  Lastly, add in dark chocolate chips.

Place small balls of cookie dough on baking sheet; mine were about the size of a quarter in diameter.  Take a fork and lightly press down on them.

Sprinkle sea salt on top if desired.  Bake for 11-13 minutes.
