WHOLE30 SAUSAGE STUFFING
(WHOLE30, VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE, DAIRY FREE, PALEO)
Thanksgiving and stuffing go hand in hand – but this stuffing is filled with so many great flavors for any occasion. This stuffing is far from traditional; after all, there’s no bread. This Whole30 version is made in a skillet and comes together quickly and easily. Unlike traditional stuffing, this version is great stuffed into peppers or squash. It’s also delicious by itself! This post is sponsored by Green Giant but all thoughts and opinions are my own. #GreenGiantThanksgiving
HOW TO MAKE WHOLE30 SAUSAGE STUFFING
This stuffing is a breeze to make. First, add sausage to a skillet over medium heat. Break up sausage with a spatula and cook until brown and crumbly. Set aside. Next, add olive oil, riced cauliflower, onion, apple, Brussels sprouts and sweet potato to the skillet. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until veggies have softened. After, add rosemary and thyme. Sprinkle with sea salt and pepper to taste. Finally, add the ground sausage back to the skillet and cook for 2 to 3 minutes until warmed throughout.
WHOLE30 THANKSGIVING
There are a ton of great Whole30 Thanksgiving recipes on my blog. This stuffing would be great on any Thanksgiving table alongside Whole30 Mashed Potatoes, Whole30 Orange Cranberry sauce, and a turkey! For a more traditional stuffing, see my Whole30 Paleo Stuffing HERE. Cooking with healthy ingredients during the holidays can be easy and delicious! This stuffing proves just that – it’s filled with so many great flavors but it’s made with ingredients you can feel good about.
