I’m typically a sweet breakfast person but these Whole30 Sausage Egg Bowls might turn me into a savory breakfast lover.  They’re packed with so much hearty flavor.  I love having some bacon and roasted sweet potatoes alongside these bowls.  Feel free to add in some vegetables if you’d like; you really can’t go wrong with adding in more flavors here.  These bowls are the perfect breakfast for busy mornings!

Ingredients:

8 eggs, scrambled
2 cups spinach
1/2 cup onion, cut up
4 chicken apple sausages, no sugar added
2 TBL olive oil
Pinch salt and pepper
Basil for garnish, if desired

Directions:

Add onion and olive oil to a large skillet over low heat.  Add sliced sausage.  Cook for 5 or so minutes.

Add in eggs and spinach.  Sprinkle salt and pepper.  Let cook 5-10 more minutes, stirring carefully.

Add to a bowl and serve!
