After a massive heatwave this week, I had been searching for a quick and easy no-bake recipe and thus, these macaroons were born.  Only 3 ingredients (4 if you count sea salt), less than 5 minutes of prep time, and these sweet and salty little treats are yours!  You probably already have the ingredients on hand, which makes these a breeze.  I would eat these year round but I’ll say that they’re especially delicious straight out of the fridge or freezer in the summer.  Let’s get no-baking!

Ingredients:

1 1/3 cups unsweetened coconut flakes
2/3 cup dark chocolate chips
2 TBL coconut oil
Sprinkle sea salt, optional

Directions:

In a large bowl, melt chocolate chips with coconut oil.  Mix in coconut flakes.

Form into balls and place on a parchment lined pan.

Sprinkle with sea salt if desired.

Freeze for 30 minutes.  Enjoy!
