These Whole30 Burger Bowls have so many great flavors and textures! These bowls have all the traditional flavors of a burger but they are deconstructed. This is a great Whole30 ground beef recipe for lunch or dinner. They are totally customizable and great for entertaining too!

Ingredients

Burger Bowls

  • 4 pieces bacon
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup chopped white onion
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • pinch sea salt
  • 1 tsp ground pepper
  • 1 head lettuce, I used butter lettuce
  • 1/4 red onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup baby tomatoes
  • pickles

Whole30 Spicy Mayo

Instructions 

  • First, make the bacon. Add bacon to a skillet over low medium heat and cook until crispy.
  • Remove bacon to paper towel and discard all but 1 tablespoon of bacon fat in skillet.
  • Then, add chopped white onion, ground beef, sea salt, pepper and garlic to the pan. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes or until meat is browned and crumbly.
  • Next, assemble bowls. Add lettuce to 4 bowls. Top with ground beef mixture, bacon, and desired toppings.
  • To make the spicy mayonnaise, simply combine mayonnaise and buffalo sauce.
  • Finally, top burger bowls with Whole30 Spicy Mayo.

Notes

  • Ground turkey can be used in place of ground beef.
  • The topping possibilities are limitless!
