This homemade Macadamia Nut Butter is so smooth and creamy! It requires only 2 ingredients and comes together quickly in a food processor. Spread it on fruit, use it in dips or dressings, or as a veggie dip!
Ingredients
- 2 cups macadamia nuts
- pinch sea salt, optional
Instructions
- Add macadamia nuts to a food processor or high speed blender. If using unsalted nuts, add sea salt if desired.
- Blend macadamia nuts on high until smooth and creamy. Every minute or so, stop the food processor and scrape down sides of processor with a spatula.
- Continue processing until smooth and creamy.
- Finally, serve!

- A food processor or high speed blender is needed for this recipe.
- Sea salt is totally optional. Omit if using salted macadamia nuts.
- Scrape down sides of blender or food processor every minute or so.
- Continue processing until smooth and creamy.
- Consider adding a pinch of cinnamon for a sweeter flavor.
- Pour macadamia nut butter into a Mason jar. Once cooled to room temperature, fasten lid and store in fridge.
- If food processor or blender becomes overheated at any point, stop and let it rest. Then continue processing.
- Use within 2 weeks for best results.
- This recipe makes about 1 cup of macadamia nut butter. Each service size is 2 tablespoons.
