These homemade gluten free graham crackers are nostalgic, classic, and crispy! They have a warm cinnamon flavor and crunchy texture. Great for making s'mores, snacking, baking, and more!
First, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the gluten free flour, oat flour, almond flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, maple syrup, milk, and vanilla.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms. If needed, use your hands to fully incorporate all of the ingredients.
Place the dough between two sheets of parchment paper. Roll it out to ⅛ inch thickness. Use a cookie cutter or pizza slicer to cut the dough into desired shapes.
Carefully transfer the cut-out crackers onto the parchment lined baking sheet. Leave a little space between each cracker. If desired, use a fork to lightly pierce the crackers.
Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the graham crackers are golden brown along the edges.
Remove the baking pan from the oven. Allow the crackers to completely cool on a wire rack. They will firm up as they cool down.
Once cool, serve and enjoy!
Notes
This recipe uses a specific flour blend. Use the correct amount of gluten free flour, oat flour, and almond flour.
The cookie dough will be pretty thick. It is somewhat similar to cut-out sugar cookie dough.
Roll the dough out to ⅛ inch thickness. Anything thicker will taste like cookies instead of graham crackers.
This recipe can be made entirely vegan. Use vegan butter sticks and dairy free milk.
These graham crackers will become crunchy as they cool down. Allow them to cool completely.
