Ingredients

Instructions

  • First, shred the potatoes with a cheese grater. Squeeze out all excess moisture with paper towels. Spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray. Place the hash brown potatoes in the basket in one even layer.
  • Spray the shredded potatoes with olive oil spray. Sprinkle the sea salt, garlic powder, and black pepper on top.
  • Air fry at 375 degrees Fahreheit for 6 minutes. If possible, carefully flip the potatoes and air fry for an additional 6 minutes. You may need to cut it into smaller pieces to flip.
  • Finally, remove from the air fryer and serve!

Notes

  • This recipe is written for fresh hash browns.  If you are using frozen shredded potatoes, air fry on each side for 8 minutes or until crispy.
  • To flip the hash browns, use a large spatula or cut it into smaller pieces.  Be very careful.
  • I love using 100% olive oil spray for this recipe.  Coconut oil spray and avocado oil spray are other great options.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
