Ingredients

Instructions

  • First, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a pan with nonstick spray.
  • In a bowl, combine melted butter, garlic powder, paprika, pepper and salt.
  • Pat fish dry. Place in greased pan.
  • Then, pour melted butter mixture over fish.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until fish is flaky and opaque. Insert fork into fish. Twist. If the fish flakes, it is done.
  • Finally, remove from oven. Add a squeeze of lemon juice and fresh herbs on top.

Notes

  • Use fresh fish or thawed frozen cod.
  • Feel free to adjust the seasonings to suit your taste.
  • For a more mild flavor, consider omitting the paprika.
  • To make this dairy free, replace melted butter with 1 tablespoon olive oil.
  • Bake until opaque.
  • To test if the fish is done, insert fork and twist.  If the fish easily flakes, remove from oven.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
