Protein Mug Cake
This protein mug cake takes just a few minutes to make! It is filled with wholesome and healthy ingredients but it tastes rich and decadent. This mini chocolate cake is easy to make and great for a quick dessert!
First, add all ingredients to a mug or ramekin. Reserve a few mini chocolate chips for after the mug cake is cooked.
Mix together.
Then, microwave on high for 60 seconds. Then, microwave in additional 10 second increments as needed.
Carefully remove the mug cake from the microwave. Immediately sprinkle some chocolate chips on top.
Finally, serve!
If needed, replace oat flour with 3 tablespoons of almond flour.
Both vanilla and chocolate protein powder can be used. For a rich chocolate flavor, use chocolate protein.
The chocolate chips are optional. Feel free to omit.
Every microwave is different. Yours may require slightly more or less baking time.
The mug or ramekin will be very hot. Use an oven mitt when handling.
