  • Add macadamia nuts to a food processor or high speed blender. If using unsalted nuts, add sea salt if desired.
  • Blend macadamia nuts on high until smooth and creamy. Every minute or so, stop the food processor and scrape down sides of processor with a spatula.
  • Continue processing until smooth and creamy.
  • Finally, serve!

Notes

  • A food processor or high speed blender is needed for this recipe.
  • Sea salt is totally optional.  Omit if using salted macadamia nuts.
  • Scrape down sides of blender or food processor every minute or so.
  • Continue processing until smooth and creamy.
  • Consider adding a pinch of cinnamon for a sweeter flavor.
  • Pour macadamia nut butter into a Mason jar.  Once cooled to room temperature, fasten lid and store in fridge.
  • If food processor or blender becomes overheated at any point, stop and let it rest.  Then continue processing.
  • Use within 2 weeks for best results.
  • This recipe makes about 1 cup of macadamia nut butter.  Each service size is 2 tablespoons.
