Paleo Apple Cobbler (Gluten Free & Vegan)
This Paleo Apple Cobbler is incredibly flavorful, easy to make, and healthy! This gluten free cobbler has a sweet juicy apple filling and a delicious cobbler topping. It is easy enough to make for any occasion!
First, preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
Make the cobbler topping first. Add all cobbler topping ingredients to a mixing bowl and stir to combine.
Place cobbler topping in fridge while you make the bottom layer.
Peel, core and slice apples into 16 pieces. Then, add apples to a large mixing bowl.
Add all bottom layer ingredients to the bowl with the apple slices. Toss until apples are completely coated.
Lightly spray a pie plate with nonstick spray. Then, pour apple mixture into dish.
Remove cobbler topping from fridge. Form 4 or 5 discs of dough and place those on top of apples.
Place a sheet of aluminum foil lightly covering the pie dish. Do not press tin foil onto cobbler topping.
Bake for 20 minutes. Then, carefully remove tin foil and bake an additional 5 minutes or until apples are fork tender.
Finally, remove from oven and serve!
Cobbler topping dough will be a little crumbly. This is normal!
Slice apples into evenly sized pieces.
Toss apples and bottom layer ingredients until apples are completely covered.
Form cobbler topping dough into 4 or 5 evenly sized discs.
Bake until apples are fork tender.
