This homemade gluten free garlic bread is total comfort food! It is bursting with fresh garlic flavor. Each piece is buttery with crispy edges and a soft tender middle.

  • First, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, sea salt, pepper and chopped parsley.
  • Spread butter mixture on one side of each slice of bread. Continue for all bread.
  • Wrap bread in tin foil. Place in a casserole dish or on baking pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes. Optional: broil on high for 1 to 2 minutes, watching closely.
  • Finally, remove from oven and serve!


  • Any type of gluten free bread can be used.  I used Schar white bread.
  • Use softened butter.
  • For crispier bread, broil for 1 to 2 minutes on high.  Carefully watch bread to prevent burning.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • This bread freezes well.
