Ingredients

Chicken Wings

Honey Glaze

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 slices lemon, optional
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • ¼ cup honey

Instructions

Oven Method

  • First, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Line a rimmed pan with parchment paper or tin foil.
  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Add wings, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, sea salt and lemon pepper seasoning to bowl. Toss until wings are coated.
  • Arrange wings in one even layer on lined pan.
  • Bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
  • Once the wings have about 10 minutes left, make glaze. Add all glaze ingredients to a skillet over low heat.
  • Bring mixture to medium heat or until lightly bubbling. Once bubbling, reduce heat to very low. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until slightly thickened.
  • Once wings are done, add wings to a large bowl. Drizzle with sauce and toss to combine. Finally, serve!

Air Fryer Method

  • First, preheat air fryer to 390 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly spray air fryer basket or pan with nonstick spray.
  • Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels. Add wings, olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, pepper, sea salt and lemon pepper seasoning to bowl. Toss until wings are coated.
  • Arrange wings in one even layer on air fryer pan.
  • Air fry for 15 minutes. Then carefully flip wings. Air fry for another 10 to 12 minutes or until wings are cooked through.
  • After flipping wings, make glaze.

Notes

  • If using frozen chicken wings, either thaw before making this recipe.  Or, add 10 to 15 minutes to oven time or 5 minutes to air fry time.
  • Carefully watch glaze while cooking.  Since it contains honey, it can easily burn.  Stir often to prevent burning.
  • Lemon pepper seasoning adds a great flavor, but it can be tough to find in stores.  This recipe is great with or without it.
  • Chicken wings are done when they reach 165 degrees Fahrenheit.  Use a meat thermometer for best results.
  • Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
