Ingredients

Instructions

  • First, line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Add chocolate chips and coconut oil to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth and creamy. If needed, microwave another 10 to 15 seconds to get it fully melted.
  • Add gummy bears, about 10 at a time, to the melted chocolate mixture. Use a spoon to fully coat gummy bears in chocolate.
  • Use a slotted spoon to remove covered gummy bears from chocolate mixture, allowing excess chocolate to drip off. Place gummy bears on parchment lined pan.
  • Repeat process for all gummy bears.
  • Place pan in fridge for at least 15 minutes or until chocolate hardens. Finally, serve!

Notes

  • Use your favorite kind of gummy bears.  See blog post for gluten free and Vegan options.
  • Use your favorite chocolate chips.  I used dark chocolate chips that are dairy free and Vegan.
  • Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil until fully smooth and creamy.  Mine only took 30 seconds in the microwave.
  • The slotted spoon is helpful in allowing the excess chocolate mixture to drip off gummy bears before placing them on the pan.
  • Store gummy bears in the fridge.
