  • Air fry for 18 to 20 minutes.
  • Finally, remove from air fryer and serve with desired sauces.

Oven Method

  • First, preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray baking pan with nonstick spray.
  • Slice Russet potatoes into long thin fries, about ¼ inch thickness. Add fries to a large bowl.
  • Add in olive oil, sea salt and pepper to bowl. Toss to combine.
  • Arrange fries in one even layer on pan. Do not overlap fries.
  • Cook for 20 minutes. Then flip fries and cook for another 20 minutes.
  • Finally, remove from oven and serve with desired sauces.

Notes

  • Slice potatoes into evenly sized fries.  This helps with even cooking.
  • Keep fries approximately ¼ inch thick.  If they are thicker, they will need to be cooked longer.
  • Avocado oil or refined coconut oil can replace olive oil.
  • Feel free to add a pinch of garlic powder, paprika or onion powder if desired.
  • Check to make sure fries are fork tender before serving.  They will be crispy on the outside but double check they are soft inside.
  • Store fries in the fridge for up to 3 days.
  • To reheat, air fry or bake until warm.
