Apple Cinnamon Bread
This apple cinnamon bread is soft, fluffy and moist! It has warm and cozy fall flavors. This quick bread recipe is easy to make. Great for breakfast, snacks and dessert!
First, preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line an 8 inch by 4 inch bread pan with parchment paper.
Add brown sugar and cinnamon to a small bowl. Mix together and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, add melted butter, eggs and sugar. Stir to combine.
Then, add in flour, baking soda, baking powder, and vanilla extract. Stir to combine.
Fold in the finely chopped apples. Batter will be very thick.
Transfer half of the bread batter to the lined pan.
Sprinkle half of the brown sugar cinnamon mixture on top.
Then, repeat these layers.
Bake for 36 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out with only moist crumbs.
Lastly, remove from oven. Allow bread to completely cool before slicing into.
Both regular all purpose flour and gluten free 1 to 1 flour can be used. For these photos, I used King Arthur Flour gluten free 1 to 1 flour.
Finely chop the apples. Do not use large chunks of apples.
I recommend using honey crisp apples. For a more tart flavor, Granny Smith are great.
The batter will be very thick.
Do not over bake bread. Bread is done when toothpick inserted comes out with only moist crumbs.
This bread is very gooey and moist. Allow it to fully cool before slicing into. Otherwise, it will be crumbly.
Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days.
