Ingredients

Instructions

  • First, preheat waffle cone maker.
  • Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl. Stir to combine.
  • Spray waffle cone maker with nonstick spray.
  • Then, scoop out about ¼ cup of batter. Pour in the middle of the waffle cone maker. Shut the lid.
  • Cook for about 2 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Then, carefully remove from waffle cone maker. Immediately use cone roller to shape the cones. They are hot and easily formable, but please be careful.
  • Finally, allow the cones to fully cool while wrapped around the cone roller. Then repeat process for remaining batter.

Notes

  • Use gluten free 1 to 1 flour, not almond flour, coconut flour, cassava flour or oat flour.  The only substitute is all purpose flour (if not gluten free).
  • I used almond milk for these photos.
  • I have not tried using coconut oil in place of the butter, but I imagine it would work for a dairy free option.
  • Use about ¼ cup of the batter for each cone.  Just spoon it right in the middle of the cone maker and close the lid.
  • Each waffle cone maker is different, but mine calls for about 2 minutes of cooking time.  Adjust as needed.
  • These cones are very hot when they first come out of the maker.  Please be careful forming the cones.
  • Since they are so hot, they are easily moldable.
