In reply to Angela Little. Hi Angela! I am not familiar with carb quick. Cornstarch is a perfect substitute for tapioca flour. Arrowroot starch also works. The tapioca flour is used to coat the thicken (so it gets crispy) and thicken the sauce. Please let me know if carb quick ends up working!

I used to order orange chicken takeout all the time and I knew I had to make this recipe when I saw it. This was so delicious and even better than I used to remember compared to takeout. Great recipe.
