Yeeooo, these cookies are the shit! I took a chance and veganized it, having no clue if it'd turn out well. I replaced the egg with Bob's Red Mill egg replacer and also replaced the butter with Country Crock avocado oil butter and it turned out perfectly, kept all measurements the same btw. Plus, these cookies are tasty while STILL being gluten free, which is hard to come by these days because let's face it, some GF products/recipes aren't nearly as good as regular. The perfect chocolate chip recipe search is over, this is definitely becoming a staple from now, thanks for the recipe!

I’m not sure if the oat flour being about 5 weeks past its best by date or me using the mixer to blend it all instead of “stirring” as stated did this, but mine turned out more like the consistency of a sausage ball. Nothing like the flat cookies in the picture. Anyone have ideas for me?

These are the closest I’ve found to regular ol choc chip cookies! I use Earth Balance in place of butter (same measurement) and I add 1/4-1/2 tsp of salt. This recipe has become a staple in my household!

To start, I NEVER write reviews. However, here I myself back on this website to make these delicious gluten-free cookies, again!

They are easy to make and may be the best cookies I have ever baked.

The only change I make is adding some salt to my batch. Other than that, I follow this to a T.

Thank you, Addison! My husband and I are happy campers with belly’s full of cookies.

Hi Sarah! What are the ingredients in your oat flour? Sometimes oat flour contains a flour blend, so that may be why. I haven't tried these with a sugar free brown sugar, so that could be the culprit too.
