I don’t usually comment but I have to say thank you for creating the perfect chocolate chip cookie recipe. For some reason I had always struggled with chocolate chip cookies and getting the texture right but these are foolproof!

I now keep frozen cookie dough balls in my freezer all the time for guests. I’ve served them at parties and brunches and every time I have guests begging for the recipe. I reserve some of the chocolate chips for dotting on top of scooped dough balls for a picture perfect look.

These are hands down my FAVORITE cookies. Every time I bake them, I received multiple compliments. For birthdays everyone asks me to make them these cookies.

These were a disaster. I followed the instructions carefully. I chilled for two hours. I baked and they are basically a liquid. I left them in the oven for an extra 7 minutes. I am not clear how they will be edible.

In reply to Jackie H. Hi Jackie! The dough is a little too soft for rolling out. You may be able to refrigerate the dough for 24 hours or so then roll it out, although I haven't tried that myself.
