These are enjoyable and chewy, but not quite there. The dough is lacking in flavor, bland even with the tbl of vanilla. When I baked my first batch at 400, it resulted in an overly brown cookie with a completely raw center. For the remaining batches I lowered the temp to 375 and baked for 13 minutes which resulted in a cookie more like the photos here.

In reply to Suzy. Hi Suzy! The dough is supposed to be thick but soft and not sticky. Over baking them will make them a little dry. What peanut butter did you use?

I used bobs red mill one to one they came out yummy but not chewy I wonder why…..and a drop dry maybe it’s from overbaking them . Is the dough supposed to be thick and sticky?

Do you have this recipe with the exact weights / measures… as Cups is not really something we use here in the UK. I can convert the temperature to Celsius, but there seems to be widely differing views on the conversion of Cups!?
