Yesterday however I screwed it up. TWICE! Not sure what I did but today I’m going to make a third attempt, triple check on measurements and whisk those eggs with sugar a bunch!! Not sure what happened. I just got back from the store with needed ingredients I ran out of. I need these brownies to thank my neighbor.5 stars

My family recently made a comment that no brownies taste better than the Ghirardelli mixes. This week we had to retract that comment. These were amazing! They needed extra baking time, and I’m not sure exactly how much because I kinda forgot about them for a couple minutes, but they turned out great. I would try to eat them day-of because ours dried out quickly. But overall, good recipe. Would recommend!5 stars

The brownies are delicious, however they have taken twice as long to bake and still the toothpick doesn’t come out clean. I know my oven takes a bit more time than others, but normally only 5-10 mins extra, not 30 extra. Thankfully the brownies harden up a bit once out of the oven and even more once frozen.4 stars

This recipe calls for 1/2 cup melted butter. The same amount (1/2 cup) of melted coconut oil can be used. I have not tried this with olive oil or another oil. I would recommend using 1/2 cup.
